This project utilises ‘Genesis’ high performance windows and doors which is Capral’s signature residential product range. This house takes advantage of every product in the Genesis range including Genesis stacking doors, Genesis hinged doors, Genesis louver windows with breezway galleries, Genesis casement widows and  fixed light windows. The glass used through the building includes viridian SP 40 green. There is an abundant amount of screening and security screens including Amplimesh SupaScreen to prevent unwanted flying pests from entering the home.

The Capral residential range of products were selected due to ‘Genesis’ being a highly functional range of windows and doors featuring an exclusive design of clean visual lines, curved features and rounded edges. The overall effect is a sleek, quality finish. Genesis doors and windows are designed with a unique aluminium frame which allows different products to work together throughout a home. The range features high quality hardware and components, providing reliability you can count on.  This home benefits from Genesis features including superior technology of effortless motion technology (EMT™), to provide smooth performance. The glass has a slight green tint which makes it reflective and creates reduced glare. The home is situated on a golf course so the reflective nature also provides privacy during the day.

This house was build on a golf course so it was the Architects challenge to make it blend seamlessly into the environment.  A fantastic result was achieved due to the use of materials including multiple window and door configurations that allowed for fresh breeze and expansive views of the fairway. The Capral Genesis windows and doors were complimented with 75mm air rated concrete walls and internal exposed concrete slabs to help keep the house cool all year round. The Genesis casement windows were the hero of the project helping capture the Easterly beeze in the dry season and Westerly breeze in the wet season. The back patio faces the golf course so aluminium louver blades were used to protect parts of the house from flying off-target golf balls.
